David M. Shannon — Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

David Shannon joined NVIDIA in 2002 as general counsel, leading the company’s legal and intellectual property initiatives. He added the role of secretary in 2005. Previously, he spent nine years at Intel, most recently serving as vice president and assistant general counsel. Shannon also practiced for eight years at Gibson Dunn and Crutcher, focusing on complex commercial and high-tech related litigation. He holds a BA and JD (with honors) from Pepperdine University.
